MSc students can sign up for a 3 week course on hyperpolarized NMR, a unique technology that can answer important and challenging biological and chemical questions.

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is a highly versatile and widespread analytical method that can be provide important information about complex molecular structures.

When combined with Hyperpolarization by Dissolution Dynamic Polarization (DNP), the method provides unique insight into transient states in chemistry and biology, eg. observing cellular metabolism in the intact living cell.

Pernille Rose Jensen from the HYPERMAG Center of Excellence and collaboration partner from DTU Chemistry Sebastian Meier teach an intensive 3 week course in June on Practical NMR spectroscopy: Making reactions in (bio)chemistry visible

The course combines lectures on theory with practical laboratory exercises in designing NMR and DNP assays for biotechnology, technical chemistry and medicine, from sample preparation to data acquisition, analysis and interpretation in assay development. The course is aimed for MSc students.
