CMR/HYPERMAG at joint ISMRM/ESMRMB Conference 2018

Center for Magnetic Resonance and HYPERMAG turn out in strength at this year's International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) Conference, which is held jointly with the annual meeting of European Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology (ESMRMB).

The Group has had a total of eight conference contributions accepted. These include recent research results on imaging methodology and acquisition for MR and Hyperpolarized Metabolic MR, as well as RF components for Hyperpolarized Metabolic MR imaging. Postdoc Cihan Göksu has been invited to give a power pitch, and other center members will present posters.

Postdoc Cihan Göksu:

  • Human In-vivo Brain MR Current Density Imaging based on Steady-state Free Precession Free Induction Decay (power pitch)
  • Comparison of two alternative sequences for human in-vivo brain MR Current Density Imaging

PhD student Rie Beck Hansen:

  • Multichannel Hyperpolarized 13C MRI in a Patient with Liver Metastases using Multi-slice EPI and an Alternating Projection Method for Denoising
  • Integrated B1+ Mapping for Hyperpolarized 13C MRI in a Clinical Setup using Multi-Channel Receive Arrays

PhD student: Daniel Højrup Johansen:

  • Accurate Noise Figure Measurements for Highly Mismatched Preamplifiers
  • Ideal Coil Decoupling in Receive Arrays using Negative Resistance Preamplifiers

Development Engineer Jan Raagaard Petersen:

  • Ultra-low power transmitter for encoding non-MR signals in Magnetic Resonance recordings

Postdoc Juan Diego Sanchez Heredia:

  • 3-Fold SNR Enhancement of Small Animal 13C MRI using a Cryogenically Cooled (88 K) RF Coil

After the conference, you will be able to access the individual contributions in DTU Orbit, our research repository.
