Invited Talks and Posters

A large group from the HYPERMAG team will attend the Hyperpolarized Magnetic Resonance (HYP18) Conference on 2-5 September 2018, this year in Southampton, UK.

Senior Researcher Mathilde H. Lerche has been invited to give a talk on Metabolic Signatures of Living at conference opening.

Postdoc Andrea Capozzi will give a talk on A narrow line UV-induced non-persistent radical to generate highly polarized transportable glucose solid samples

HYP18 is the sixth international conference in a row dedicated to to hyperpolarization as an integrated subject, covering the full range of hyperpolarization techniques. Hyperpolarization techniques enhance nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) signals by up to 5 orders of magnitude. The advent of hyperpolarization opens up new areas of application and is inspiring the development of new methodologies and theoretical approaches.

HYPERMAG Center Leader, Professor Jan Henrik Ardenkjær-Larsen is on the scientific committee of the conference, which is held every 2-3 years. The first was held in 2007, and in 2013 DTU in Denmark hosted the event.
