New PhD student Rafael Antonio Baron

Rafael Antonio Baron has joined Center for Magnetic Resonance on 18 April 2017 as a new PhD student.

Rafael Baron’s PhD project will focus on cryogenic receiver array coils for hyperpolarized magnetic resonance. He will be part of the team of the HYPERMAG Center of Excellence.

Rafael Baron is from Brazil and got his MSc degree from University of Campinas in 2014. The past couple of years he has been working at first the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory and then the European Spallation Source research facility in Sweden.
